Located along the brow of a knoll in eastern Shorewood Hills, the Usonian-style meeting house, with its pitched copper roof, deep- red concrete floor and 40-foot-tall prow of interlacing wood and glass, blurs the line between building and nature. Its auditorium combines the functions of sanctuary and community room, with the prow serving as a de-facto steeple.
