American Landscapes

Growing up in Phoenix with a geologist father and adventures mother, I've seen every corner of Arizona and was camping before I could walk. For 16 years growing up, the desert southwest was my playground. Because of this early exposure to the natural world and having a camera in my hand most of the time, my roots are in landscape photography. From the diversity of our national parks and national forests to all those little 4 wheel drive roads in between, the landscapes of North America rival any others in the world. I've seen and photographed specular landscapes for all over the world but there is just nothing quite like the landscapes of North America. From the tallest trees to ancient volcanoes, to the lowest elevations below sea level, this gallery explores and celebrates some of those North American treasures.
